Message-to-Manuscript

Do you have sermons, lessons, or audio teachings but no manuscript yet?

That’s where we step in.

With the Message-to-Manuscript Package, we do the heavy lifting for you. Our team takes your recorded or written messages and transforms them into a structured manuscript draft that truly reflects your voice. This isn’t ghostwriting—it’s your words, your message, your teaching—organized and expanded into a book-shaped draft.

From there, we carry your manuscript through every stage of editing and proofreading. You’ll receive a clean, polished manuscript that has been strengthened by line editing, refined by multiple rounds of proofreading, and checked at the design stage to ensure nothing is missed.

By the end, your book will be more than a draft—it will be a fully edited, typesetter-ready manuscript that captures your calling and connects with readers.

Choose your plan

The Message-to-Manuscript Package is built to deliver a 60,000-word book based on the sermons, lessons, or audio content you provide. This length typically produces a book of about 200–240 printed pages, depending on design and formatting. If you’d like your book to be longer, we’re glad to expand it—additional content is charged at $75 per 1,000 words desired.

BENEFITS

Draft Creation

We begin with your sermons, lessons, or audio recordings and transform them into a manuscript draft. This isn’t ghostwriting—it’s your words and your teaching, organized and expanded so that they read naturally in book form. By the time this stage is finished, you’ll have a complete manuscript that reflects your voice and message while giving our editors a strong foundation to build upon.

Line Edit

Line editing focuses on the sentence-by-sentence craft of your manuscript. Beyond polishing readability, flow, and word choice, this stage ensures your unique voice shines through on every page. Our editor carefully removes uncharacteristic words or phrases that don’t sound like you, so the manuscript feels authentic and consistent with the way you teach. The goal is to refine without rewriting—making your message smoother, stronger, and unmistakably yours.

Copyedit

Copyediting ensures your manuscript is technically correct and consistent. In this stage, we refine grammar, punctuation, and spelling while also checking your Scriptures, quotations, and footnotes for accuracy and consistency. Every verse reference is verified, every citation double-checked, so your teaching stands on a solid foundation of both clarity and credibility.

Proofreading

Proofreading is a safeguard before your manuscript moves into design. In this stage, we carefully review the text for typos, spelling issues, punctuation errors, and small formatting inconsistencies. By catching these details early, we minimize the number of corrections your typesetter will need to make later—streamlining the process and keeping your book on track for a smooth finish.

Design Proofread

After your manuscript is formatted for print and ebook, our team reviews the designed pages. We look for issues that only appear once the book is laid out—like awkward line breaks, missing words, or spacing errors. These checks guarantee your final pages are just as professional as your content.

Back Cover Copy

Your back cover is often the first thing a reader sees. We craft compelling, professional copy that introduces your message, highlights your authority as a teacher, and invites readers to open the book. This marketing-ready text adds polish and credibility to your finished product.

Author Bio

A professional bio that introduces you to your readers with clarity and credibility. We’ll write (or refine) a concise author bio that highlights your ministry, expertise, and personal touch, making it suitable for your back cover, online retailer listings, or speaking engagements.

Unlimited Typesetter Collaboration

Once your book is in the hands of a typesetter or designer, small errors can creep in when changes are applied. We act as your partner in this stage, reviewing every update and working back-and-forth with the typesetter until the layout is clean, consistent, and error-free. You’ll have peace of mind knowing nothing gets overlooked in the handoff between editing and design.

90-Day Reprint Guarantee

It’s common for self-published authors to make small corrections soon after launch, especially within the first 30 days. Our team works tirelessly to provide the cleanest manuscript possible, but even with multiple rounds of editing and proofreading, an occasional error can still slip through—we’re human too! If you do spot something after publication, you don’t have to worry—we’ve built in a safety net. For 90 days after release, we’ll reimburse up to $75 each for ebook and print file corrections (up to $150 total), so small fixes never become a big headache.

The Editorial Freelancers Association (EFA) publishes widely recognized rate guidelines for each stage of editing. Because our packages combine developmental editing, line editing, proofreading, and design proofreading into a single service, our rates fall within and often below the cumulative averages listed by the EFA. This allows us to provide authors with comprehensive editorial support at a competitive and transparent price.
